We are delighted to announce that we are open for Sunday Lunch with food from 12.30pm. Members of the public welcome. We are children and dog friendly.

Welcome to The Boathouse, home to the Lea Rowing Club events web site. In our newly refurbished clubhouse you can get married (we are fully licensed) throw a party or doing both is proving ever more popular. Alternatively, you can enjoy a delicious Sunday lunch and let the afternoon drift by sitting next to the river.

We are located on the River Lea immediately adjacent Springfield Park in the borough of Hackney. As an award winning venue all our events happen on the first floor where our bar and balcony enjoy fabulous views of the river Lea. No better place to toast the bride, sup a chilled white wine, plucked from our excellent wine list, or enjoy one of our craft ales.

We are well served by public transport with Liverpool Street station a mere 19 mins by over ground to Stamford Hill and a 15 mins walk or 4 min bus ride away. Seven Sisters tube is only 13 mins from Oxford Circus with a host of buses to complete the journey. Tottenham Hale is one stop further along from where you can stroll along the river direct to the venue. There is a free car park next door and unrestricted parking locally.
